RISK TAKING TEST
What it measures: This test is designed to determine the
test-taker’s level of comfort with risk-taking, and how
it could their career.
Sub-scores:
Sensation seeking: Propensity to thrive on new, intense,
and varied situations
Harm avoidance: The degree to which one seeks to avoid
stressful situations
Comfort with ambiguity: a willingness to take action,
despite uncertain outcomes
Conscientiousness: The degree of separation between a
thoughtful, reasonable behavior to reckless abandonment
Locus of control: The perceived degree of control over
one’s actions
Reward dependence: The motivational values of both
recognition and tangible rewards
